Join us on Saturday, February 22, from 12 PM – 2 PM at the UPROSE Climate Justice Center for a conversation about last mile warehouses and their impact on Sunset Park.
What are “last mile” warehouses? They’re the final stop in e-commerce deliveries, where goods move from warehouses to your doorstep. Sunset Park already has six of these facilities, and without strong regulations, more could be on the way—bringing increased truck traffic, air pollution, and health risks to our community.
This session, co-hosted by UPROSE and the Last Mile Coalition, will break down how city policies shape warehouse development and give you the tools to take action. Learn how to draft testimony for an upcoming City Council hearing on new legislation to regulate air pollution in our neighborhoods.
Your voice matters—join us to fight for cleaner air and a healthier Sunset Park!
